Dental Treatment Under General Anesthesia
Whether you are apprehensive about visiting the dentist or have a procedure scheduled that requires intensive care, you may be a candidate for dental treatment under general anesthesia. By anesthetizing patients, a dentist allows the individual being treated to be asleep or sedated during the procedure.
This makes it easier for both parties to get through the treatment. It can also be initiated in a number of ways. Most commonly anesthesia is applied via IV, through a breathing mask, or an injection. Once unconscious, you will not dream nor will you wake up until after the Stephen J Vuolo DDS is done with your care.
